Without the man, this would be a map. With him, it’s a distance.
Sõrve, Estonia, 2024. One mechanical camera, one frame of film, and a long wait while he wandered the end of the spit, until he stood just right. A drone would have been easier. It wouldn’t have been mine.
Somewhere out past that horizon the road keeps going. I can feel the wind already…
